"Do we have to leave?"
"You‘re pretty loaded."
"Am I...I feel good, do you feel good?" She asked him.
"I‘m here with you, what could be better?" he responded, reaching for her hand.
"Being in bed could be better."
"I could arrange that," he said, desire flickering in his eyes.

He couldn’t remember when he last enjoyed a day spent with
a woman as much as he had today. Painting together, singing,
hanging out over dinner with the guys and then ending it with her
in his arms was perfect. This was his kind of day, not a day most
women would enjoy. But Sunny had, if he judged by her smiles.
He was falling for her, little by little. He couldn’t believe how
much he looked forward to seeing her, how he made up excuses to
stop by.

Happy memories of his days at The Birches crowded out unpleasant
memories of his life since. There were so many wonderful, hilarious stories about the cabin community…and most of them involved her. He could hardly take his eyes off her when they were
together. She was so lovely, her eyes shining her internal sunlight
and her smile wide…and her body. He wanted so much to touch her, but he didn’t want to push her or rush her into a physical
relationship. It had to be right.

Part of him wanted to end it: romance was often more trouble than it was worth. But maybe not this time. Mike knew he couldn’t stop what he was feeling for Sunny, because it started long ago, when he became the only one who was looking out for her. He wanted to be her protector again and more…her lover. But he could detect reluctance on her part though he knew she wanted him to kiss her by the way she stared at his lips.

They weren’t children anymore, so why was he hesitating? It
went back to the uneasy feeling he didn’t know all he should about
her. Relax, he told himself. Give her time. She isn’t just any woman. She would definitely be worth waiting for.

Join me for a tour of the fictional Kensington State University in the fictional town of Willow Falls, NY, setting for the Now and Forever books series.

Mac Caldwell and Eliza Baines, undergraduate deans at the university, moved their offices into this building, Tucker House, last week. They are still trying to get organized.
.
Callie attends her graduate school classes in this building. All the non-science graduate programs have classes here in Lewiston Hall.
Jonesy wanted to live close to school so after a snow storm she wouldn't have far to go. She and her husband, Bill Jones, bought this house in town on Chestnut Street:
Jonesy fell in love with, Danny's pug, Rocky, so she rescued her own pug, this fine specimen and named him "Wellington" after the college where she met Bill. He calls the pug, "Welly":

University president, John Lawrence, lives here with his lovely wife, Annika:

Here is the police station where Dave Williams keeps things Kosher in Willow Falls:
This is the house on Sycamore Street where Callie rented a room on the ground floor in the back with a view of a small garden.
Here is the lake where the Caldwell family has a house. Their house is on the left. Just a peek.

Here's the church in Willow Falls where Callie's sister, Sarah, gets married...oops! That's two books to come. Sorry for jumping ahead.

This is Chaucer House, where the English department and Danny's office is located. It's where an English professor met a bad fate...oops, sorry...that book isn't out yet. *slaps hand*, gotta keep the books straight.

TUESDAY TALES - Sexy Night at the Museum

First four chapters click here

SEXY NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
CHAPTER FIVE

Liza began to see eluding Angela’s watchful eye at the museum as a game. She and Rick were formal with each other whenever they worked together. Liza continued to bring him his coffee in the morning and on late nights, but now he would pat her behind or steal a kiss when she came in.
Collecting a specimen to return to the file after he finished with it, Liza lingered long enough to rest a hand on his chest or let him cradle her breast. Several times they narrowly escaped detection when Angela walked into a room. Occasionally they passed in the hall, flushed from making out in the copy room and struggling to keep from laughing when they walked by Angela’s desk.
Liza tried to concentrate on the work she was doing but it difficult. While Rick seemed perfectly capable of separating his lust for her from his fascination with birds, Liza didn’t find it easy. The more they made love, the more time they spent together, the more she wanted him. While he was attractive to her before, now he was as essential to her well-being as the air she breathed.
She moved into his townhouse and he continued to drop her several blocks from the museum each day so the administrators would remain in the dark about their relationship. This was necessary to keep them both from getting fired. There was a strict no-fraternization rule after the museum got sued several years ago.
“We will be preparing several special exhibits, Liza,” Rick said, carefully picking up a stuffed bird.
She turned her full attention to him.
“This year we’re doing exhibits by continent. We’ll have two continents of birds on exhibit together for three months, then rotate to another two continents. Of course the United States will have its own exhibit and not share with another continent.
“That’s wonderful! But it’s going to take months to sort, retrieve and prepare all those birds for exhibit, let alone create the exhibit.”
“Right. The museum is bringing on extra staff. A boatload of interns have been hired for slave wages,” Rich explained.
“So am I staying beyond October?” She asked, her pulse racing.
“I’ve requested you stay for the entire year. I couldn’t possible do this without you,” he said, looking right into her eyes, taking both her hands with his.
“I don’t think I can continue to sneak around like we do,” she whispered.
“No problem. We won’t have to.”
            “What about Angela?”
“I’ve learned Angela’s little secret,” he confided, his eyes dancing with merriment.
“Angela’s little secret?” Liza asked, cocking her head slightly.
“Gerald in accounting told me. We’re home free,” he said, pulling her closer.
            “Are you sure?”
            “I’m a scientist, Liza, would I tell you I’m sure if I wasn’t?”
“So what is her little secret?”
“It seems she’s been after me to divert attention from her real lover…Mae in accounting.”
            “Mae?”
“Angela is a lesbian and doesn’t want anyone to know. Besides, she’s breaking the fraternization rule herself by sleeping with Mae. So we’re safe.”
Liza flew into Rick’s arms for a long kiss as they were alone in the museum.
“Let’s go home where I can show you how truly grateful I am,” Liza said, pulling on his sleeve.
Rick smiled at her and began to pack up to leave. Liza helped and they were done in no time. When they reached his townhouse, Liza started undressing on the stairs and they barely made it to the bedroom before satisfying each other.
Just after turning out the light, Rick sat up. Liza rolled over.
“There is another way to stop worrying about getting fired,” he said, his eyes adjusting to the dark as he reached for her.
            “What?” She asked, half-asleep.
“We could get married,” he whispered.

Now and Forever, Callie's Story

Here is a short snippet of Now and Forever, Callie's Story, the free contemporary, sexy novella available as a FREE download on Smashwords:

Callie swore to her sister she knew something was up because the sound of the doorbell was different. The teen remembered going to the big picture window in the living room that Saturday to watch sheets of rain come down hard from heavily clouded skies.

Boredom crept into her body and she slumped down on the window seat, tracing behind raindrops racing down the pane with her finger. Then the doorbell rang. Afterward, everything seemed to happen in slow motion.

She opened the door to reveal a grim-faced policeman dressed in dark blue, water dripping off his hat, his hands nervously clenching and releasing. She looked up at him with a questioning gaze until she saw the look of sadness in his eyes. Her hand flew to cover her mouth as tears filled her eyes.

“Callie Richards?” he asked. “There‟s been an accident.”

About the book:
Callie Richards led the life of a typical teenager until tragedy turned her world upside down. Rootless and lonely, she wanders into the life of Kyle Maine, a handsome young man three years her senior, who befriends her.

Over time, their friendship grows into love. Through the years, their devotion continues unabated through challenges and good times as she attends college and he raises his younger brother then Kyle makes an unexpected choice. This emotional and sensuous story of true love is the prequel to more about Callie in Now and Forever 1, a Love Story.
