Danny, it's your turn to shine. Mac declared he's the more romantic hero. What do you have to say for yourself, hero of "Now and Forever 2, the Book of Danny?

As usual, he's full of hot air! I'm romantic, hey, I have my name on the book cover *kisses Jean on the cheek*, thanks, Jean. *Jean blushes*. I'll show you who's romantic, Caldwell. Read these and weep. Captain Danny Maine wins this war!
“Great,” Danny said, kissing her palm. “What’s the policy on professors dating administrators?”
“The school feels that is our private business, one policy I agree with. You’re moving pretty fast, aren’t you?” she asked, slowly removing her hand from his.
“When you’ve been where I’ve been, you don’t want to waste time. Why should I play some stupid waiting game? Wait for what?”
“That’s certainly direct,” Eliza said, sipping her coffee.

And this, Caldwell!
“A beautiful woman like you deserves more.” He saw her eyes widen as he rested his hand
over hers, calming her.
Her hands stopped, he closed his fingers around hers and she lifted her eyes to his.
“You’re right,” she said, hunger evident in her gaze.
“You deserve a man who can send you to the moon,” he murmured. He gazed at her face, lovely in the candle glow.

Compete with this, Mac:
He placed his hands on her small waist, moving her closer. Eliza responded to Danny’s ardent kisses with ragged breathing as her body molded to his. His hands caressed her shoulders then moved down her back to her waist where he pulled her closer to him gently while his lips traveled down to nuzzle her neck.
I dare you to do one better than this:
They kissed another long, slow kiss. Danny slipped his hands around her waist and pulled her closer. His breathing became shallow. She touched his stubbly face. He stopped to kiss her one more time before he disappeared through the door and back to his solitary life.
Another one here:
Danny Maine affected her like a hurricane, blowing into her life with gale force winds, sweeping her off her feet and stirring up long dormant feelings, sensations. When he held her in his arms, her lips and other parts of her body tingled.

Okay, Dean Caldwell, bring it on! Thanks for stopping by. Please let me know what you think of my "romantic" side. *Blushes* In a comment!

(Both books are available in paperback)

Danny, you've got it over Mac. I don't know if it's an Army thing but you are more willing to reveal yourself and the pain you experienced.

Danny, I think you are incredible but Mac is it for me. He shows his romantic side in obvious as well as quiet ways. There is also, at least in my opinion, something incredibly touching watching Mac with Jason. A great father warms the heart & makes it melt.
